OY
Every Sunday we play OY (Bingo with playing cards) in the front bar. Why not come along and join in. It’s ‘eyes down’ at 9pm approx – £1 per card, per game. Definitely worth a visit as all prizes are CASH PRIZES!!
DARTS
The RUSSC has a successful darts team who regularly play on our three professional dart boards available in our members bar. We also hold competition darts for cash prizes once a month in our function hall where 10 professional dart boards are available. Both Alex Roy and Lionel Sams have graced our monthly competitions on more than one occasion. Please see the Entertainment Calendar for future dates. We would welcome enquiries from established dart teams who are looking for a suitable venue.
POOL
We have one professional pool table in our Snooker/Pool Hall and two current pool teams. Again, we would welcome enquiries from anyone looking for a suitable venue in which to play/host pool competitions/leagues.
SNOOKER
The RUSSC are pleased to confirm that we have 3 full size snookers tables which have recently been refurbished to a high standard. Whether you are a team captain scouting out the ideal home venue, or a rookie looking to try your hand at a game, both are welcome, however, you are required to become a full member to use these facilities.
GOLF SOCIETY
Our Golf Society has been established for a number of years and is actively known under its old initials of RUSC/GS. The society meets once a month and plays on a variety of courses throughout the months of April, May, June, July and September, avoiding the busy spell in August due to summer holidays. We also partake in one winter competition which is the society’s Christmas Trophy.
We offer a warm welcome to all new members. The more people attending a golf session, the better chance we have of negotiating a bargain day out! The AGM, also known as the Trophy Presentation Evening, is usually held in March and the date will be posted on this site as soon as it is arranged. David can usually be found in the Members’ Bar on Friday evenings should you wish to meet up with him.
